To celebrate the 2019 Crystal Ship Festival in Ostende, Belgium, Dutch street artist Leon Keer came up with something special: His latest work “Fragile” shows three huge vases, boxed and stored in some kind of wood-container.
…Well, that’s what it seems. In reality, what you’re looking at is just a big wall behind an industrial building, no containers at all!
Using a technique called anamorphic perspective, Keer is able to create obstacles with more depth and 3D-effect in his murals. He is one of the leading anamorphic street artists worldwide and has executed artworks in Europe, The United States, Mexico, The United Arabic Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Russia, New Zealand, Australia and several Asian countries.
