In cooperation with “Montana Colors” and “Graffmapping”, street artist PEZ took part in the “Baselhouse Mural Festival 2018” by creating the artwork “Save the Sea”. During planing and painting PEZ directed a team of graphic designers, animators and a music producer, to bring more life into the graffiti wall. This is what the result looked like:
For the 12×6 meter wall to be lighted out efficiently PEZ’s team used a Barco projector with 12.000 lumens. The light-show was presented for two nights, located at 5th avenue of Wynwood, Miami and got over 5000 visitors. The artwork’s aim was to raise awareness for the plastic pollution of our oceans, this is from what the name “Save the Sea” originated.
